This is another wonderful repudiation of the myth that all Bordeaux are too expensive. In fact, truth-be-told, only a minority of classified growths and a handful of luxury Pomerols and St.-Emilions are super expensive. Most Bordeaux can be bought at a fair, if not low price, and here is one more example of that. A sexy, seductive, soft, velvety wine with lots of black cherry and black currant fruit along with hints of earth, herbs and background oak, it should be drunk over the next 3-4 years. |
