Bell Wine & Spirits is pleased to forward its 2011 Holiday Sale Catalog. This year's Holiday Sale is the biggest and best ever and one glimpse will reveal its revolutionary new format, which is out of this world! Please use the catalog as your guide to savings, but we are constantly bringing in new items so come by the shop for the best selection.

Our thanks to the fantastic Connie Kibler, who hosted this week’s Saturday tasting for us and did a fantastic job with the large groups of regulars and newcomers! We had many new wines on the tasting table, including the Mystery Wine:

Airfield Estates Merlot 2010 (reg. $16.99) SALE $14.99

This approachable Washington State Merlot exhibits flavors of dark berry and plum with hints of spice and toasted oak. With supple tannins, a full-bodied mouthfeel and a lingering finish, it is a rich and drinkable red.

M. Chapoutier Belleruche Cotes-du-Rhone 2010 (reg. $12.99) SALE $9.99

This new white Cotes-du-Rhone is a tasty blend of Grenache Blanc, Clairette and Bourboulenc. On the nose are green apple and citrus aromas. The palate is fresh and well-balanced, with a rich, round body and smooth length. At the sale price, this is a total steal!

Airfield Estates Riesling 2010 (reg. $13.99) SALE $11.99

With aromas of apricots and floral notes, this slightly off-dry Riesling hails from Yakima Valley. Ample acidity balances out the residual sugar, resulting in a light-bodied and refreshing wine. On the palate are flavors of green apple and citrus with a touch of minerality.

Saint Gregory Pinot Noir Rose 2010 (reg. $13.99) $11.99

This Pinot Noir is made from four Graziano vineyards in Mendocino County is a Burgundian style wine. With a nose of black cherry, spice, and a light earthy note, it has a velvety palate with flavors of black cherry and raspberry and a light acidic finish. No matter the weather, this rose is a perfect choice!

Lone Birch Red Blend 2009 (reg. $10.99) SALE $8.99

The blend in Airfield Estates’ second label contains Merlot (38%), Grenache (26%), Cabernet Sauvignon (10%), Barbera (8%), Sangiovese (7%), Cabernet (6%) Franc, and Cinsault (5%). With spicy aromas of nutmeg, anise and red cherry, the palate is medium bodied with soft tannins, good acidity and flavors of dark fruit and spice.

Oriel Llicorella Priorat 2002 (reg. $25.99) SALE $22.99

This great aged Priorat is composed of old vine Cariñena (60%) and Garnacha (40%). The aroma shows intense fruits, minerals and spice. On the palate is plum and wild berries with licorice and spice. Fine tannins and a delicate structure finish the wine.

Mas Carlot Les Enfants Terribles 2009 (reg. $14.99) SALE $12.99

This blend of old vine Mourvedre and Syrah is a hearty wine with lots of spice and elegance. Hailing from the Costières de Nîmes, it shows plum and berry with hints of herbs, cocoa and vanilla. It is round, yet compact in the mouth with a lasting finish.
